📣 In a Few words

I’m Perry Merrity, an Experience Design Leader based in Dallas, Texas. I enjoy people and discovering what motivates their dreams, hopes, and being. Also. I love coffee, photography, and Japan 🇯🇵.

🕰 My Background

I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2013 and 2015 with a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Arts. My first freelance project was designing the experience for a mobile app while in graduate school. At this point my career trajectory shifted from game design to user experience.

Since then, I’ve brought digital journeys and products to life. I’ve accomplished this through meaningful connection with stakeholders, collaborators, and users. I build user-centered products for businesses of all sizes ranging from venture-funded startups to large organizations.

I love Japanese curry like no other and I’ve dedicated my life to replicating the perfect bowl in my kitchen.

I live and work in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Although priority is given to local non-profits and startups, I am open to working with people globally. I have worked with teams in Brazil, China, India, Poland, Spain, Vietnam, and throughout the United States.
